Securing our Future
Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center is proud to announce the creation of the L’Dor Vador Foundation, a collaborative endowment program in partnership with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, to ensure a bright and vibrant future for our synagogue for generations to come.
The L’Dor Vador Foundation provides a way for members and friends of ATJC to perpetually help develop and sustain the congregation now and in the future. It is a permanent fund; only its earnings will be spent. When funds are available and distributed, they will support projects above and beyond normal budgeted items, as well as ongoing operations.
Because you are amongst our most loyal donors, we wanted you to be one of the first to know about this exciting, groundbreaking initiative. Through the years, you have generously given your time and resources to help build and grow our synagogue into one of the most important congregations in the United States. Now, you can help ensure the future of ATJC with a legacy gift of any size.

BEQUESTS
Making a bequest — a gift made in your will or living trust — to ATJC is a powerful way to turn creative ideas into tangible programs, build momentum for new initiatives, and preserve time-honored traditions for future generations. Bequests can be a specific amount, percentage or remainder of assets.
BENEFICIARY DESIGNATIONS
A beneficiary designation allows you to make a substantial gift, oftentimes larger than what you could afford during your lifetime. Designate ATJC as the primary or contingent beneficiary for your:

Ways to Give Now
IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER
Those who are over 70 can give up to $100,000 from their IRA directly to ATJC without having to pay taxes. If you are 72 or older, this gift can also satisfy your required minimum distribution.
A GIFT OF STOCKS
Stock gifts are a tax-advantage way to support ATJC's holy work. Contact your bank or broker to jump-start your legacy.
GIFT OF CASH
By making a cash gift, you’ll see your generosity in action, and when you itemize, you’ll receive a federal income tax Charitable deduction. Cash gifts can also be given in tribute of a loved one.
DONOR ADVISED FUNDS
Through a donor advised fund, you have the flexibility to recommend how much and how often funds are granted to ATJC.
Establish Your Intent
By establishing your own personal Jewish Legacy to benefit the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center, you will help secure the Jewish future for our community for years to come.
You can create your Jewish Legacy Gift by declaring your intent to provide for the congregation in your will or estate plans. You can also make your commitment with a current gift of any amount. You can customize your gift to meet your dreams, fit your lifestyle and align with your personal
and family’s financial needs.
Consider establishing your intent by making the following declaration: “In the tradition of those who came before me, I affirm that I have, either, (a) already provided for the future of Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center through a legacy gift, or (b) plan to do so in the manner described.” While not a legal document, your Declaration of Intent indicates your heartfelt
promise that your will or estate plan will include instructions to provide for the support and future of ATJC. By creating your Jewish legacy, you will leave a lasting imprint on our community for generations.
